London Fashion Week: Luella & House of Holland
Posted by kim on September 24th, 2009
First of a couple of posts about my fave things from London Fashion Week. Since discovering Luella a few seasons ago, through their use of t-shirts in catwalk fashion more than anything, I never fail to love any collection they produce. There’s always a few pieces in there that I just look at and go ‘ah!’. No change this year, either.

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with House of Holland, I think quite a lot of the collections are pretty dumb and uninspired, but then there’re always a couple of pieces that catch my eye and make me think I’ve got my opinion completely wrong. This time I particularly liked this sweater-dress with house prints. Prints = good.

More catch-ups to come this week, including Red Label (1930s with heavy makeup? I think so!), Matthew Williamson (holy geometry, Batman!), and Temperley London (cloche hats and long dresses, another 1930s collection?).
