Real life photoshop

So I saw this on, I think, either boing boing or geekologie last week. It’s super great, dontcha think? Got me thinking how much I’ve neglected working with real world supplies lately. I had a kinda strange transition from my fine art degree (where I spent the majority of time time printing t-shirts and making creatures) to my web development/design job that I do during the day now. Damn, I really need to start creating outside of CS programs!

In other news, this week has been mainly about putting offers on tall, kooky terraced houses and being shit scared at the prospect of spending Hundreds-of-Thousands-of-Pounds. Where ever we move to though, my studio will be bigger and better and able to house more supplies and goodies than ever before… and then I shall reform to the creator that I once was!!11one!!

A favourite artist of mine, producing some of the most delicate beautiful work, is Audrey Kawasaki. I’ve been following her work for a few years now and just love her subject matter and palette. You should definitely check her out!

How lovely, my little embroided deer canvas has been featured on this blog, http://thedesignalphabet.blogspot.com/2008/08/d-licious.html .

There’s some fun things going in the world of Imaginary right now, including some Monster prints & new necklace designs. Also very much on the cusp of getting all new printing equipment ready for an enslaught of brand new shirt designs! OoO! :D

This has been around a while, but i haven’t put it on here yet.

This (not photoshopped, but inflated) tentacle monster was created by filthyluker in an art collaboration with Pedro Estrellas. Grand!
