Harry Potter is always going to be top of my list, I have read them all many times, but as to any others I have never sat down and actually thought about it, so now I will have to.

Gah, I would never re-read Lord of the Rings. I almost killed my brain dragging myself through it the first time. The Hobbit was far more readable.

I think I've read The Hobbit a couple of times, and I definitely need to re-read Lord of the Rings this year... I have a lovely hard cover copy of that which hasn't been read, it's too nice.

Stardust is another of my favourites, too, I read the Charles Vess illustrated version on my lunch breaks in the library recently. I'd only read the actual book before, but the graphic comic is a nice change! Have to admit I've never read a Stephen King novel through! eek!

Harry Potter and the His Dark Materials series are definitely up there for me as well. And Neil Gaiman, although Stardust is my favorite of his right now. Stephen King's Christine is another favorite. I also turn a lot to kids books from my childhood - like Bruce Coville and Louis Sachar.
