Oh man, I think this is a pretty geeky thing to blog about. But I’m gunna do it anyway. One of the favourite things we got for our new kitchen is… the tap! We weren’t going to get a tap at that point, but because Ikea gave us such a sweet deal (spend £2000 and we’ll give you £200 back) we figured we’d add it to the cheque.
The tap is quite a ‘statement’ piece, being that it’s bloody huge and industrial, and I loves it! We’ve gone for the black version, seeing as our counter tops and flooring are also black. We have a black dining table, too. We’ll be adding the tap to our wonderfully huge sink (this baby measures around a metre long, you know).
And if you wanted to know the bright, impact colour we’ve gone for in our new kitchen… here it is…
Auburn falls #4, from the Dulux colour range. We’ll be accessorising around this colour, too. The rest of the palette in the kitchen in black and white (white cupboards, black counters & floor). Next week I’ll show you the dining area :)
Wow, that is going to look great. I love orange, and with black? POW!
Yeah, we're only have two of the walls orange so that it's not *too* extreme, but it should look pretty neat :)
